Alexander Rozhko

Alexander Rozhko, born in 1969, Belarusian, higher education. In 1991 he graduated from the Grodno State Medical Institute, in 2007 - from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus. PhD in Medicine, Associate Professor.

Since July 5, 2007, he has been working as the Director of the state institution "Republican Research Center for Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology".

ALexander Rozhko is a highly qualified manager, organizer of healthcare, responsibly resumes his official duties. His approach to work is distinguished by professionalism, completeness of knowledge of the current regulatory legal acts and methodological documents on issues within his competence.

With the lead of A. Rozhko, an active implementation and provision of high-tech medical care is being carried out in the institution. The specialized centers and rooms created on a functional basis continue to work: a consultative and diagnostic center to provide specialized medical care to the children's population; Republican center for immunopathology; center for preventive gastroenterology; center for metabolic disorders; room for neurophysiological study; room for sleep pathology; phlebologist's office; endocrine surgeon's office; room for thrombophilia; nephrologist's office. Due to the implementation of new technologies and the intensification of the medical process, the average duration of treatment of patients in a hospital setting has been reduced.

A. Rozhko constantly improves his professional qualifications. He has extensive and deep knowledge in his specialty, constantly strives to improve his professional competence. He demonstrate great interest in the achievements of national and foreign science in the field of healthcare. Throughout his career, he has been actively engaged in scientific work, contributing to the development of research activity in the institution. He is the author of more than 150 publications, 39 application instructions, 11 patents for inventions, 4 manuals, 2 monographs.

He was awarded the medal "For Labor Merit", the medal "For Merit" of the 1st degree of the All-Russian Union of Public Associations "Union "Chernobyl" of Russia", the Medal of Honor of the Academic Council of The Federal State Public Enterprise “Nikiforov's All-Russian Center for Emergency and Radiation Medicine” of the Emergencies Ministry of Russia, Certificate of Honor of the Grodno City Executive Committee, Certificate of Honor of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, badge “Excellent Health Worker of the Republic of Belarus”.
