The first issue of the journal came out in April 2009. The Editorial board of 21 people and the Editorial council of 14 people were represented by leading experts in the field of radiation epidemiology, radiobiology, radioecology, dosimetry, medical rehabilitation, radiation safety, as well as radiation and clinical medicine. The first issue was presented with 19 articles. During the publication period, the number of articles has varied from 18 to 28. At the end of 2022, the Editorial board includes 33 scientists and researchers.  The  Editorial council is represented by 24 members.
