<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article considers the influence of circadian rhythms on the biology of hair follicles. Molecular genetics aspects of the biological clock and the issues of their growth and hair development are analyzed. The chronobiology of hair follicles is based on several circadian images: «hours of morphogenesis» (determination of induction and morphogenesis in the process of embryonic hair development); «Cyclic inductor» (initiates the synchronized operation of the hair clock); «Desynchronized» (desynchronizes the work of hair, for example, during aging); According to a number of authors, the «cyclic inductor», «hair cycle clock» and «desynchronized» can be combined into mechanisms controlling the process of apoptosis and mitosis in the hair follicle.A significant part of the article is devoted to the role of melatonin in the functioning of the hair follicle.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>волосяной фолликул</kwd><kwd>циркадные ритмы</kwd><kwd>цикл роста</kwd><kwd>десинхроноз</kwd><kwd>мелатонин</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hair follicle</kwd><kwd>circadian rhythms</kwd><kwd>growth cycle</kwd><kwd>desynchronizes</kwd><kwd>melatonin</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">A Meeting of Two Chronobiological Systems: Circadian Proteins Period1 and BMAL1 Modulate the Human Hair Cycle Clock / Y.
